AI Architect – Full Stack (Calgary or Mississauga)

About the role

Infosys is seeking a senior AI Architect to lead full‑stack AI solutions for clients in Calgary or Mississauga. The role combines deep technical expertise in generative AI with end‑to‑end architecture design and hands‑on development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy generative AI models for text, image and code generation.
• Fine‑tune pre‑trained large language models for specific business domains.
• Manage the complete AI lifecycle from data preprocessing to model evaluation, optimization and production deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers and product managers to define requirements and integrate AI components.
• Stay current with AI research and drive continuous improvement of the organization’s AI capabilities.
• Champion responsible AI practices, including bias mitigation, fairness and explainability.
• Conduct code reviews, performance evaluations and proof‑of‑concepts for new AI technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
• Minimum 7 years of core software development and architecture experience.
• 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience with generative AI models.
• Located within commuting distance of Calgary or Mississauga, or willing to relocate.
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer‑based visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Deep‑learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Machine‑learning fundamentals, deep‑learning architectures and natural‑language processing.
• Experience with generative AI, large language models and model fine‑tuning.
• Design and architecture patterns for scalable, high‑performance systems.
• Proficiency with open‑source AI tools and libraries.
• Strong code quality practices, including code reviews and performance optimization.
