Agriculture Professional Development – Marketing & Sales

About the role

BASF is offering a 24‑month Agricultural Professional Development Program that combines a marketing and customer‑solutions rotation with a subsequent field‑sales placement. The first 12 months are based in Calgary, Alberta, where you will work with the Marketing & Customer Solutions Team, followed by a field‑sales assignment anywhere in Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Marketing & Customer Solutions Team in product positioning, market analysis and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop customer‑focused solutions.
• After the marketing rotation, transition to a field‑sales role to manage accounts and drive sales growth.
• Participate in regular training sessions and professional development workshops.
• Provide feedback and insights to improve BASF’s agricultural offerings.

Required profile

• Current university student or recent graduate with a strong interest in agriculture, marketing or sales.
• Highly motivated, mobile‑minded and willing to relocate within Canada.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
