About the role

Framestore, a multi‑Oscar‑winning visual‑effects studio, is seeking a talented 3D Animator to join its Montreal team. You will work on high‑end VFX films, bringing characters and objects to life through performance‑driven animation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Animation Lead and Supervisor to deliver high‑quality, story‑driven animation.
• Animate primary and secondary characters, creatures, and environmental elements.
• Submit shots for review, incorporate feedback, and meet production schedules.
• Stay current with new tools, software, and pipeline technologies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of performance, acting, and physical motion.
• Knowledge of body mechanics for creature and animal movement.
• Attention to detail, reliable time‑keeping, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
