About the role
This senior business development position focuses on generating revenue by securing government‑funded workforce‑development contracts and building institutional partnerships. The role is accountable for opening, negotiating, and closing opportunities with ministries, employment agencies, colleges, and non‑profit training platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, pursue and win funded training contracts, RFPs, tenders and grant opportunities.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of government and institutional prospects and achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Lead bid preparation, grant submissions, commercial proposals and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with academic and delivery teams to launch programs at scale across multiple provinces.
- Analyze labour‑market trends and align offerings with provincial funding mechanisms.
- Negotiate contract terms, margins, renewals and regional deployment.
- Own monthly revenue and acquisition goals and work with finance on bid modelling.
Required profile
- Proven track record closing government‑funded training or workforce‑development projects.
- Experience with provincial or federal grant models, labour‑market programs or subsidised skilling contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Strong network across colleges, workforce boards, Indigenous bodies, settlement agencies or non‑profits is an advantage.

Required skills
What we offer
- Competitive salary range of CAD 90,000 – CAD 110,000 per year.
