About the role
The Vice President of Tax, Retirement & Estate Planning will support CI Advisor Consulting’s TREP team by providing expert guidance to financial advisors across Canada. Based in Toronto, this senior leader will help protect and grow client wealth through tax, retirement and estate planning solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to detailed tax, retirement and estate‑planning inquiries from advisors and the CI GAM sales team.
- Create and update educational content to reflect legislative changes.
- Collaborate with wholesaling teams to identify sales opportunities and add value to CI GAM product lines.
- Deliver presentations, road‑show sessions, conferences and seminars for advisors and investors.
- Develop articles, media pieces and research on industry trends.
- Provide training and relationship‑building support to sales and distribution partners.
- Work with TREP, Sales and other CI GAM departments to share technical knowledge and meet company objectives.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in tax, retirement and estate planning within the financial services sector.
- Proven ability to support financial advisors and sales teams.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian tax legislation and regulatory updates.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
