Technician I – Security

About the role

As a Technician I – Security with Bosch Building Technologies, you will support the installation, maintenance and repair of electronic security solutions. Working alongside experienced technicians, you will gain hands‑on experience with low‑voltage access‑control systems, CCTV, intrusion alarms and pre‑wiring projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in installing and servicing access‑control, CCTV and intrusion‑alarm systems.
• Perform pre‑wiring, cable pulling, termination of copper and fiber‑optic cables, and install related components.
• Program, commission, troubleshoot and maintain security equipment.
• Support system design, layout and provide customer training on proper usage.
• Maintain project documentation and update Project Managers on progress.
• Build relationships with clients and prospects to identify future opportunities.
• Perform night‑shift work when required by project or service needs.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry.
• Proficiency in cable pulling, installation and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with security systems, CCTV and alarm technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Ability to follow hand‑tool safety procedures and solve practical problems with minimal supervision.
