Talent Acquisition Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition Assistant to join Capital One Canada’s Talent Acquisition Operations team. In this role you will support recruiters and hiring managers by managing interview scheduling, offer administration, onboarding, and ensuring a smooth candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional candidate experience by delivering a seamless recruitment process.
• Build trusted relationships with recruiters, hiring managers and candidates.
• Manage high‑volume interview scheduling and balance multiple requests.
• Process new starters through Workday and communicate all pre‑start information.
• Maintain accurate data and reporting for recruitment metrics.
• Handle inquiries in the team’s shared mailbox and respond to applicants, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate background checks for all new hires.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in operations, coordination or logistics support.
• At least 1 year experience in administrative and process management roles.
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Forms) for at least 1 year.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; background in Human Resources or recruitment is a plus.
