Supervisor, Food and Beverage Processing

About the role

The company is seeking a Supervisor to oversee food and beverage processing operations in a fast‑paced, noisy production environment. You will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while leading a team of 50‑100 workers.

Key responsibilities

• Minimize hazards throughout all stages of the food production process.
• Train staff on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, and performance measures.
• Prepare production reports and recommend improvements for productivity and product quality.
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of workers and machine operators.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate with other work units.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in food or beverage processing supervision.
• Knowledge of Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Occupational Health and Safety certification.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and good oral communication.
• Team player with reliable judgement.
