About the role
The Manitoba First Nations Education Resource Centre Inc. is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join its interdisciplinary team, providing essential communication and swallowing services within school environments.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language tests and examinations.
- Develop, plan and implement remedial programs to address speech, voice, language, resonance, cognitive‑linguistic and swallowing disorders.
- Establish group and personalized care plans as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Provide advice and educational services to patients and families regarding communication and swallowing disorders.
- Plan and implement habilitation/rehabilitation programs and inform patients about hearing loss and treatment.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Experience is an asset.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and excellent written communication.
