Software Development Intern

About the role

Affinity Decision Support (ADS) is seeking motivated R&D Software Development Interns to join our team. This part‑time internship offers a hands‑on learning experience in software development processes, contributing to the creation and release of healthcare analytics products.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, and testing.
• Complete development tasks aligned with your skill level, supporting larger projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate and validate features.
• Document development work to support quality assurance activities.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in research, innovation, and software development.
• Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies.
• Self‑motivated, coachable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Required skills

What we offer

• Part‑time schedule (approximately 20 hours per week) during the Spring/Summer 2026 semester.
• Compensation at $20 CAD per hour.
