Senior Project Manager – FRTB & Markets Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our core Program Management Team in Mississauga. The role focuses on delivering large‑scale capital markets transformation initiatives, particularly around FRTB, FX Delta and FX Risk.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of regulatory, audit, risk and control projects across Global Markets.
• Drive analysis, requirements gathering and design workshops for capital markets initiatives.
• Manage test phases using tools such as JIRA and ensure proper governance approvals.
• Coordinate internal and external dependencies with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control and Technology teams.
• Escalate and resolve issues with senior stakeholders, producing clear project updates for various committees.

Required profile

• 10+ years of front‑to‑back project experience in capital markets (FRTB experience not required for full 10 years).
• Strong understanding of FX Delta, FX Risk and broader markets products.
• Proven ability to influence senior management and build collaborative relationships across trading, finance, operations, technology and risk.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a persuasive, analytical approach.

Required skills

• FRTB knowledge, especially around FX Delta and FX Risk management.
• Experience with JIRA for test and project tracking.
• SQL for data analysis.
• Advanced Excel for large‑dataset manipulation.
