Senior Platform Engineer (Mobile)

About the role

Join lululemon, a global leader in technical performance apparel, as a Senior Platform Engineer within our Mobile Engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our iOS and Android ecosystems by designing and implementing sophisticated, scalable, and highly reliable platform systems that empower our mobile developers.

Main Missions

• Design and implement complex platform systems to support high-performance mobile applications (iOS & Android).
• Establish technical direction for infrastructure, automation, and developer tooling.
• Develop advanced CI/CD pipelines and orchestration strategies to streamline deployment.
• Build sophisticated abstractions for cloud infrastructure and container orchestration.
• Create developer-centric tools, including APIs, CLIs, and self-service portals.
• Architect comprehensive observability frameworks (logs, metrics, distributed tracing, and intelligent alerting).
• Lead technical reviews, define engineering standards, and mentor junior engineers.
• Drive roadmap planning and lead the resolution of critical production incidents.

Profile sought

• Proven experience in platform engineering or DevOps, specifically supporting mobile environments.
• Strong expertise in building scalable infrastructure and automation workflows.
• Ability to lead technical strategy and mentor engineering teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on reliability and scalability.
• Experience in managing complex, large-scale distributed systems.
