Senior Mobile Developer

About the role

TouchBistro is looking for a Senior Mobile Developer to own end‑to‑end mobile features for a platform used by over 15,000 restaurants. You will work in a fast‑moving, AI‑forward environment, delivering reliable, high‑quality experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, ship, and maintain mobile features from concept through production.
• Break work into small, shippable increments using modern tooling and AI assistance.
• Collaborate with teammates on scalable solutions, conduct thoughtful code reviews, and continuously improve development processes.
• Embed quality, testing, performance, and reliability into the development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers and help evolve engineering standards, tooling, and ways of working.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production mobile applications.
• Deep expertise in either React Native with TypeScript/JavaScript or native Android development with Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of mobile system design, networking, offline support, caching, and performance optimization.
• Experience designing robust RESTful APIs and working with CI/CD pipelines, release management, and production monitoring.
• Proven ability to work in large, complex codebases and improve code quality and architecture.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of mentoring others in an agile environment.
