Security Analyst – Vulnerability Management & Cloud Remediation

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Security Analyst to join a lean, high‑impact security team supporting an enterprise environment of over 5,000 users. The focus will be on managing vulnerability operations and driving remediation across expanding cloud environments, ensuring a strong security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Maximize the efficiency of the Qualys VMDR platform, monitoring, analyzing, prioritizing, and overseeing the full vulnerability lifecycle from detection to verified closure.
• Utilize Microsoft Defender for Cloud (CSPM) to identify risks, misconfigurations, and compliance drift, and drive hands‑on remediation across core cloud pillars (Identity & Access Management, Network, Storage, Compute/Workload Protection).
• Partner closely with internal Cloud and Infrastructure teams to implement patches and fixes, communicating risks clearly to ensure efficient mitigation without disrupting business operations.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in vulnerability management and cloud security.
• Self‑starter capable of delivering results independently in a fast‑paced, lean team environment.
• Strong communicator able to collaborate across technical teams to drive action on security findings.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Qualys VMDR (Vulnerability Management, Detection, and Response).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Defender for Cloud CSPM capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security configurations for identity, network, storage, and compute workloads.
