Quadient Inspire Designer Developer (Hybrid, Toronto)

About the role

We are seeking a Quadient Inspire Designer Developer to join our team in Toronto. The position is hybrid, requiring 1‑2 days per week onsite, and focuses on building and maintaining customer communication solutions across print and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain document templates (letters, statements, notices) using Quadient Inspire Designer.
• Implement dynamic content, conditional logic, personalization rules, and data‑driven communications using XML, JSON, or CSV.
• Translate functional specifications and data mappings into scalable template solutions.
• Validate output accuracy in collaboration with QA and business partners.
• Troubleshoot template logic, data mapping, and rendering issues, and support testing, deployment, and production releases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of document composition processes and standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and maintaining templates in Quadient Inspire Designer.
• Strong understanding of conditional logic, rule configuration, and dynamic content.
• Ability to interpret functional specifications and data requirements.
• Experience collaborating with QA and providing production support.

Required skills

• Quadient Inspire Designer (core expertise)
• XML, JSON, CSV data structures and mapping
• Variable Data Printing (VDP) concepts
• JavaScript scripting within templates
• REST and/or SOAP API familiarity
• Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Basic knowledge of React or TypeScript (preferred)
