About the role
Durabuilt Windows & Doors is expanding its new factory in Edmonton and seeks reliable, hardworking individuals to join the production floor as Production Assemblers. You will work on assembling steel frames and trusses for windows and doors in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Use hand tools such as impact drills, rivet guns, saws and cutting tools to assemble components.
- Load, unload and move materials manually or with basic material‑handling equipment.
- Follow work orders, track inventory levels and report shortages to the cell leader.
- Complete production documents accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area, removing dust and waste daily.
- Measure and verify parts using metric (mm) and imperial (inches) units.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Physically fit for manual handling and lifting up to 50 lb.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Willingness to work day and/or evening shifts and overtime as needed.
Required skills
- Proficiency with impact drills and rivet guns.
- Experience using saws and other cutting tools.
- Knowledge of measurement and verification methods.
- Basic material‑handling equipment operation.
- Familiarity with computer applications used in manufacturing processes.
