Part‑Time English Teacher (ESL) – EF Language Abroad

About the role

EF Language Abroad is seeking energetic part‑time English teachers to deliver in‑person General English and Special Interest classes to a diverse international student body. You will work with groups of 15‑17 learners of varying ages and proficiency levels, using EF’s proprietary curriculum and teaching methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver interactive, hands‑on lessons for 15‑17 students per class.
• Adapt lesson plans with your own creative touches to keep students engaged.
• Provide feedback and support to help students improve their English skills.
• Participate in initial and ongoing face‑to‑face and online training sessions.
• Collaborate with the Academic Team for professional development and classroom guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and natural classroom leader.
• Responsible, approachable, friendly, highly organized, flexible and globally minded.
• Minimum 3 months of classroom ESL teaching experience with 15+ students (preferred).

Required skills

• TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, or equivalent ESL teaching certification.
• Experience with standardized ESL exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge (a plus).
