Part-time System Administrator

About the role

AxE IT Consulting Inc. is looking for a dynamic Part‑time System Administrator to deliver proactive and reactive IT consultancy services to a diverse portfolio of managed clients. You will work both remotely and on‑site, building strong client relationships while supporting a collaborative, customer‑centric culture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide IT support and technical services to multiple clients, handling both day‑to‑day issues and escalations.
• Design, implement, and manage solutions using Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Maintain Microsoft 365 productivity and security suites, including Teams, Intune, Forms, and Notes.
• Administer Hyper‑V and VMware virtualization environments.
• Deploy and maintain server, storage, and backup infrastructures.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimise Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Implement network and network‑security solutions, following Service Level Objectives.
• Participate in 24/7 after‑hours support, monitoring emails and providing phone assistance.
• Collaborate with the Technical Director on service improvements and documentation.
• Assist with projects from assessment through design and implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 + years of IT consulting and system administration experience in hybrid environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting client relationships.
