OEM Account Manager – Automotive Dealerships

About the role

PBS Systems is seeking an OEM Account Manager to support day‑to‑day operational activities and OEM‑related initiatives for automotive dealerships. The role serves as the primary liaison between OEM partners and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication, project execution, and alignment with business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain close working relationships with internal departments and cross‑functional teams to support OEM initiatives.
• Act as the operational lead for daily OEM department activities, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and follow‑through.
• Serve as a secondary liaison for OEM partners, handling coordination, scheduling, documentation, and follow‑ups.
• Plan, coordinate, and document OEM partner meetings, including agendas, pre‑reads, minutes, and action‑item tracking.
• Track OEM projects, initiatives, and timelines, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and gaps, and escalating with recommendations.
• Maintain records of OEM activities and ensure alignment with internal communications.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the retail automotive industry, dealership operations, and OEM business practices.
• Excellent relationship‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time‑sensitive integration projects and act as the voice of the customer internally.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and follow‑through capabilities.
