Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Vention is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of mechanical components and assemblies that power AI‑driven automation solutions. You will work with cross‑functional teams to translate product requirements into reliable hardware that operates at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with program managers on projects involving structural, actuator, and pneumatic components across all development phases.
• Translate product requirements into measurable specifications and conduct DFMEA to mitigate performance and safety risks.
• Manage conceptual and validation prototyping iterations, ensuring designs meet specifications.
• Execute comprehensive test plans, including assembly, compliance, and life‑testing, to validate prototypes for production.
• Create technical assets such as engineering assembly requirements, public specifications, and user guides for production transfer.
• Support purchasing, quality, and production teams during product launch and ongoing maintenance.
• Provide product specifications, renders, and technical drawings for the part library and lead internal training sessions.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead mechanical design projects from concept to production.
• Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and managing documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
