Mechanic Helper

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Mechanic Helper to support our maintenance and construction teams on site. This entry‑level position involves assisting tradespeople with daily tasks, ensuring tools and equipment are readily available, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Move tools, equipment and other materials to where they are needed.
• Hold stakes and markers during surveying activities.
• Signal safety procedures to coworkers and the public.
• Assist tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed.
• Clean machines and immediate work areas after use.
• Handle loads up to 9 kg (20 lb) and occasionally up to 13.5 kg (30 lb).

Required profile

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• Experience is an asset but not mandatory.
• Ability to work on‑site full time; remote work is not an option.
• Physical ability to lift and move moderate weights.
