Maintenance Technician - Area Support

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician – Area Support you will keep multiple residential sites in the Edmonton West region safe, functional and welcoming. Your hands‑on work directly improves tenants’ quality of life by turning units into true homes.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic to intermediate plumbing, heating and electrical problems.
• Perform repairs on windows, blinds, doors, switches, plugs, appliances, fixtures and replace carpet, vinyl or ceramic tile.
• Carry out painting, drywall patching, mudding and taping tasks.
• Maintain building exteriors and perform basic grounds maintenance as needed.
• Detect faulty operations or defective materials and report deficiencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance‑related role.
• Completion of a relevant trade, technical certification or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and ability to work on‑call rotationally.
• Comfortable using computers, smartphones or tablets for email, electronic work‑order applications and timesheets.
