Legal Counsel – Mail Solutions (North America)

About the role

Quadient is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support its Mail business line across the United States and Canada. Reporting to the Legal Director, you will provide first‑line legal assistance to the sales and operations teams, ensuring contracts and commercial activities comply with company policies and applicable law.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including hardware sale and leasing contracts, software licences, dealer, reseller, partnership and non‑disclosure agreements.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal support to the sales organization, addressing contractual queries and risk assessments.
• Conduct legal monitoring and deliver internal training sessions for commercial and operational teams.
• Assist in developing and implementing sales‑related policies and procedures for the North America region.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and ensure compliance with corporate standards.

Required profile

• U.S. qualified attorney with 3‑5 years of contract law experience.
• Strong background in hardware and leasing agreements and solid knowledge of software contracts.
• Experience working as in‑house counsel for an internationally operating company; multi‑jurisdictional exposure is a plus.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, autonomous and proactive mindset.
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and communicate legal risk clearly.
