About the role
The Faculty of Management at the University of British Columbia Okanagan invites applications for a one‑year, 0.875 FTE Lecturer appointment. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in logistics, supply chain management and business analytics, and contribute to the Faculty’s teaching and administrative initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver seven courses (or equivalents) over a 12‑month period, including Logistics and Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and either Data Visualization & Business Analytics or Business Analytics.
- Participate in curriculum development, student advising, and departmental service activities.
- Engage in internal and external events, promoting equity, diversity and inclusion.
Required profile
- Near‑completion or completed PhD in logistics, supply chain, or business analytics from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited business school.
- Demonstrated teaching excellence in the relevant subject areas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to professional education, equity, diversity and inclusion, and collegial service.

- Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications ($90,000–$150,000 CAD per year).
