About the role
Join a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) team that provides continuous monitoring and response for customers. You will work on rotating shifts, leveraging your cybersecurity expertise to investigate alerts, perform triage, and deliver high‑quality security reports.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor, triage, investigate and escalate security alerts across multiple platforms.
- Conduct Tier 1 investigations, recommend containment actions, and hand off complex incidents to Tier 2.
- Respond to customer inquiries, phone calls, and service requests promptly.
- Present security monitoring reports in customer meetings and suggest use‑case tuning.
- Document Tier 1 processes and procedures.
Required profile
- Fluent written and verbal English and French.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and detail‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and adapt to rotating 24 × 7 × 365 shifts.
- University degree or college diploma in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Eligibility to obtain a Level II Security Clearance.
Required skills
- Experience in a Cyber Security SOC environment.
- Alert investigation and incident response.
- Working knowledge of SIEM platforms (e.g., LogRhythm, Splunk).
- Familiarity with servers, networks, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus and endpoint technologies.
- Understanding of security standards such as ISO 27001, PCI, GDPR.
- Level II Government of Canada Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
