Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. The role partners with employees and leadership to drive employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance and benefits administration.

Key responsibilities

• Address employee relations matters, resolve conflicts and promote engagement through events and recognition programs.
• Manage full‑cycle recruitment for manufacturing, operations, skilled trades and administrative positions, from job posting to offer and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records in the HRIS (ADP experience preferred) and support HR reporting and audits.
• Assist payroll processing, benefits enrollment, open‑enrollment support and compensation administration.
• Support performance‑management processes, goal tracking and employee development initiatives.
• Coordinate orientation and training programs, track participation and maintain learning materials.
• Ensure compliance with Ontario employment standards, workplace policies and health‑and‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Experience supporting hourly and salaried employees in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of Ontario employment standards and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to manage full‑cycle recruitment and onboarding.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms, preferably ADP.
