Hotel Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Hotel Maintenance Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day maintenance activities across the property. The role combines hands‑on technical work with team leadership, ensuring guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities remain in top condition.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule maintenance staff for daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
• Implement preventive maintenance programmes for guest rooms, public spaces and back‑of‑house areas.
• Respond promptly to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and general repair issues.
• Maintain safety procedures, WCB standards and accurate property maintenance records.
• Coordinate with external contractors and hotel management to uphold property standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Prior supervisory or team‑lead experience is an asset.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of basic safety practices and regulatory compliance.
