About the role
We are looking for a skilled Heavy‑Duty Equipment Mechanic to join D.B.I. Dry‑Blast Inc. in Edmonton. The role involves maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy trucks and related equipment in a fast‑paced transportation environment.
Key responsibilities
- Instruct apprentices and oversee their work.
- Troubleshoot, inspect and diagnose equipment faults using computerized testing tools.
- Adjust, repair or replace defective parts and perform welding as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications.
- Clean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance on heavy trucks.
Required profile
- Physically demanding work with ability to bend, crouch, kneel and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping.
- Dependable team player with good oral communication.
