Guest Services Agent

About the role

The Guest Services Agent is the first and last point of contact for hotel guests, delivering a warm welcome and a memorable departure. You will work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment, representing a reputable brand and ensuring exceptional service at every interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with guests and team members at all times.
• Handle guest check‑ins and check‑outs, create and cancel reservations, and manage room assignments.
• Answer incoming and outgoing calls promptly and courteously.
• Review daily logbooks and emails, completing all checklist tasks.
• Balance shift paperwork and adhere to hotel cash‑handling policies.
• Communicate effectively with all hotel departments to coordinate guest needs.
• Resolve customer complaints and provide information on hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Guest Services Manager.

Required profile

• Previous customer‑service experience, preferably in a hotel front‑desk role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible and able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Friendly, energetic, and professional appearance.
