Global Head of Supply Chain

About the role

We are seeking a Global Head of Supply Chain to lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations for a worldwide agricultural commodities organization. This senior executive will shape strategy, drive performance, and manage risk across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide global leadership for procurement, logistics, transportation, warehousing, inventory, and distribution.
• Develop and execute logistics and freight strategies, including carrier management, contract negotiations, routing optimization, and cost control.
• Partner with Trading and Commercial teams to align supply chain execution with market dynamics and customer commitments.
• Oversee inventory planning, working capital performance, and service level balancing.
• Establish and track supply chain KPIs, driving continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Maintain global governance, controls, and risk management across disruptions, capacity constraints, and geopolitical factors.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology, and R&D on budgeting, forecasting, and digital/AI‑driven tools.
• Lead, coach, and develop regional teams while scaling operations into new markets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Economics or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 15+ years of progressive global supply chain leadership, preferably in commodities, agriculture, or international trade.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi‑region supply chains with extensive logistics, freight, and inventory scope.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance cost, service, risk, and working capital.
• Executive presence with ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions and regions.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from $160,000 to $190,000 CAD.
• Full‑time permanent position based on‑site in Etobicoke, ON.
