Food Service Team Member – Sushi Chef

About the role

Join Bento’s fast‑paced restaurant team as a Food Service Team Member specializing in sushi preparation. You will work on‑site at our Saint‑Bruno‑de‑Montarville location, delivering high‑quality Japanese‑style dishes while providing friendly service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Set up workstations and ingredients for daily service.
• Prepare and measure ingredients for sushi, salads, rice bowls, and other menu items.
• Answer customer questions, offer recommendations, and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation in line with nutrition and safety guidelines.
• Assist with any additional tasks required for smooth restaurant operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the food service industry; sushi preparation experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 15 kg (33 lb) and stand for extended periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
