Financial Reporting Analyst – Reporting & Tax

About the role

The Financial Reporting Analyst will prepare and review financial statements, schedules, notes and related fund information for investment funds under client contracts. The role requires solid knowledge of investment‑fund reporting standards such as NI 81‑106 and IFRS, and the ability to meet strict service‑level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare interim and annual financial statements with supporting packages accurately and on time.
• Complete month‑end and other reporting tasks for assigned clients.
• Assist senior staff in responding to external auditor inquiries.
• Help resolve client reporting issues and handle special reporting requests.
• Document and review internal control policies and procedures.
• Proofread final financial statements before printing.
• Participate in special projects and contribute to team effectiveness.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Enrollment in a professional designation (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of investment‑fund reporting requirements, NI 81‑106 and IFRS.
• Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in financial reporting.
