Finance Analyst – Retail Commercial Programs

About the role

Saputo is seeking a Finance Analyst to support retail commercial programs across Canada. The role works closely with the sales department and the Finance Manager, providing financial analysis and program administration both regionally and nationally.

Key responsibilities

• Manage debit note processing, ensuring timely clearing and resolution of deductions.
• Conduct daily and weekly reviews of debit notes and retail financial performance.
• Analyze sales performance indicators and prepare comparative analyses of commercial programs.
• Collaborate with administrative teams across Canada to administer commercial programs.
• Assist with month‑end procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial audits.
• Provide administrative and analytical support to the sales and finance teams, including gross‑profit analysis and payments.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
• CPA designation is an asset.
• High level of precision, strong organizational and analytical abilities, self‑motivation and initiative.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written) required.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Business Intelligence (BI) tools knowledge (asset).
• AS/400 system familiarity (asset).
