Join Kelowna General Hospital’s busy Emergency Department as an Emergency Medicine Physician. The hospital serves over 100,000 ED visits annually and offers a wide range of cases, from trauma to complex cardiac emergencies, within a supportive, collegial team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population.
• Lead trauma resuscitations and manage cardiac critical care cases, including ECMO and coronary interventions.
• Collaborate closely with consultants and specialists on a daily basis.
• Participate in bedside teaching, simulation sessions, and academic rounds for residents.
• Contribute to quality improvement and departmental initiatives.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Experience in a high‑volume emergency department.
• Strong interest in teaching and academic activities.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Required skills

• Emergency medicine clinical expertise.
• Trauma resuscitation.
• Cardiac critical care (ECMO, coronary revascularization).
• Point‑of‑care ultrasound.
