Emergency Medicine Physician – Full Time

About the role

Join a dedicated team of physicians at Langley Memorial Hospital’s new Emergency Department. You will provide high‑quality, timely emergency care to a rapidly growing community in Langley, BC.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, surgery, intensive care, and allied health professionals.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and maintain 24/7 emergency coverage.
• Utilize hospital diagnostic services such as CT and MRI to support patient care.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and departmental education.

Required profile

• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Emergency Medicine (FRCPC, CCFP‑EM).
• Current licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) – full, provisional, or eligible for full license.
• Certification in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS.
• Eligibility for CPSBC USA certification is an asset.
