Digital Marketing Intern – Build Community & Social Media

About the role

Preloom is looking for its first marketing hire – a Digital Marketing Intern who will build a fashion‑forward community from scratch ahead of the public launch. Based in Toronto on a hybrid schedule, you will be the face and voice of the brand on Instagram and TikTok, driving wait‑list growth and audience engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the brand’s social media strategy on TikTok and Instagram.
• Concept, shoot, edit, and publish short‑form videos (TikToks, Reels) and static carousel posts.
• Design eye‑catching visuals using Canva or Figma.
• Grow the wait‑list and community organically, tracking performance metrics.
• Collaborate directly with the founder to plan weekly content and campaigns.

Required profile

• Comfortable appearing on camera and doing voice‑overs.
• Hands‑on editor who can produce and publish content without outsourcing.
• Deep familiarity with TikTok and Instagram trends.
• Proven track record of growing a social account and presenting analytics.
• Strong fashion instinct and bias toward rapid execution.

Required skills

• Short‑form video editing tools such as CapCut or InShot.
• Static design tools like Canva or Figma.
• Copywriting for short‑form captions and hooks.
• Ability to work independently with high ownership.
