DevOps Engineer (Docker) – Remote Contract

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer specialized in Docker to design, build and maintain containerized environments that support scalable AI training workloads. This is a remote contract position offering flexible weekly hours.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Docker‑based environments for AI training workloads.
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with machine‑learning engineers and developers to containerise applications and streamline workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Docker environments across development and production.
• Document technical processes and share best practices across teams.
• Monitor and enhance containerised systems for performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Experience working with Docker for containerisation and environment management.
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern tools.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and container lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting AI or machine‑learning workflows through containerisation.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team.
