Data Entry Clerk – Clinical Research

About the role

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to support its Cardiac Electrophysiology research program. You will work closely with the Clinical Research Unit manager and the Principal Investigator to ensure accurate and timely data handling for multiple clinical studies.

Key responsibilities

• Enter study data according to protocol specifications.
• Follow up on data requests, resolve inconsistencies, and propose solutions.
• Maintain compliance with protocol guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Provide weekly status updates to the supervisor.
• Assist with packaging, mailing, and formatting of study documents.
• De‑identify and upload documents to the sponsor’s Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Science.
• Advanced oral and written proficiency in French and English.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical research processes.
• Detail‑oriented, autonomous, and organized.

What we offer

• Temporary part‑time contract (21 hours per week) with a variable schedule.
• Hourly wage ranging from $19.70 to $29.54 CAD, commensurate with education and experience.
