Clinical Consultant Pharmacist – Full Time

About the role

CareRx is seeking a full‑time Clinical Consultant Pharmacist to join its Calgary team. The pharmacist will ensure continuity of care for residents in long‑term care, supportive living and other congregate communities by collaborating with onsite physicians, nursing staff and other health providers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between long‑term care homes, retirement communities and CareRx Pharmacy.
• Travel to assigned facilities to build and maintain strong partnerships with leadership and clinical teams.
• Conduct comprehensive medication reviews for residents in serviced communities.
• Complete all required documentation and billing in accordance with MOHLTC, Alberta College of Pharmacy and other regulatory standards.
• Provide education to residents and staff on health‑related topics, including medication safety.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy.
• Experience providing clinical pharmacy services in long‑term care or similar settings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly to multiple facilities.
