Civil Construction Superintendent & Foreman

About the role

Wilco is seeking experienced Civil Construction Superintendents and Foremen to join its team for the upcoming season and beyond. The roles focus on safety, teamwork, and delivering complex civil projects from design through completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead field construction activities, including planning, quantity verification, and safety compliance.
• Communicate material, manpower, and equipment needs to the project superintendent.
• Coordinate daily tasks, supervise machinery and equipment use, and ensure efficient, high‑quality work.
• Train staff on Wilco procedures and safe work practices.
• Implement and monitor safety and environmental policies.
• Assist with site mobilization, resolve design issues, change requests, and equipment problems.
• Control labour, equipment, and material usage; monitor progress, costs, and provide regular reports.
• Manage project administration including payroll, timekeeping, labor/equipment coding, purchase orders, and safety reporting.
• Maintain effective communication with sub‑trades, clients, and HR on employee matters.
