Chief Financial Officer – Real Estate Investment Company

About the role

The company, a family‑owned real estate investment firm, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the leadership team during a pivotal growth phase. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will act as a trusted advisor to ownership, shaping finance, investment, and capital strategies across a diversified portfolio of office, retail and industrial assets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership over finance, investments, capital allocation, treasury, reporting, taxation and risk management.
• Collaborate with ownership on acquisitions, financing activities and growth initiatives.
• Oversee all core financial functions, monitor portfolio performance and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Manage relationships with lenders, joint‑venture partners, auditors and external advisors.
• Contribute to corporate strategy, capital planning and long‑term value creation.

Required profile

• CPA designation with strong academic credentials.
• Proven senior financial leadership experience, preferably within a real‑estate investment company, family office or closely held real‑estate enterprise.
• Deep commercial real‑estate expertise and strong business acumen.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills to influence ownership and key stakeholders.
