Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

GoMaterials is seeking a proactive Buyer to manage the full procurement cycle for landscape and hardscape materials. You will own order execution, supplier negotiations, and issue resolution while supporting a fast‑growing B2B marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Execute purchase orders end‑to‑end, ensuring quality, speed, fill rate, communication, and price targets.
• Negotiate supplier terms and apply value‑engineering to maximize profitability.
• Identify and escalate procurement issues early, following through to resolution.
• Handle a high‑volume workload, balancing competing priorities without loss of accuracy.
• Collaborate with team leads and senior buyers, stepping in where needed.
• Follow established processes and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in procurement, operations, or supply chain.
• Proven ability to manage purchase orders independently with strong attention to detail.
• Confident negotiator who builds lasting supplier relationships.
• Calm under pressure, with strong prioritization skills across multiple orders.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with GSE or similar procurement platforms (bonus).
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems (bonus).
