About the role
Peninsula Canada is expanding its high‑performing sales team and seeks a Business Development Manager to drive new business for its HR and Health & Safety outsourcing solutions. This field‑based role focuses on small and medium‑sized businesses (5–50 employees) and offers full training, so industry experience is not required.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business opportunities, referrals, and appointments.
- Attend meetings booked by a dedicated telemarketing partner and conduct self‑generated meetings.
- Build and nurture relationships with referral partners and introducers.
- Deliver value‑based, consultative sales presentations to business owners and senior decision‑makers.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and consistently exceed quarterly targets.
Required profile
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven record of new‑business success.
- Confidence selling to business owners, directors, and HR decision‑makers.
- Consultative, value‑driven sales style.
- High energy, resilience, and a strong desire to win.
- Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously while contributing to a team.
Required skills
What we offer
- Base salary $60,000–$75,000 CAD per year.
- Uncapped commission with top earners reaching $400,000+ annually.
