Key responsibilities

• Develop an independent research program centered on nurse‑led health systems change, leveraging big‑data and artificial intelligence approaches.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in nursing, health services, and related subjects, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in service activities within the School, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the broader university community.
• Engage with diverse student populations and promote equity‑focused initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent research degree in nursing, health services research, health‑care administration, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated or strong potential for scholarly work in health systems, leadership, or data‑driven nursing practice.
• Commitment to advancing health equity, particularly for Black and Indigenous communities.
• Experience securing research funding and publishing in peer‑reviewed journals.

Required skills

• Research methodology in health services and outcomes.
