Art Director

About the role

As an Art Director at a creative consultancy, you will support and sometimes lead the creative vision for projects, delivering high-quality visual output that matches the brand identity and objectives. You will work closely with a copywriter and cross-functional teams to create and run creative solutions across print, digital and multimedia platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Work with a copywriter to develop ideas for integrated advertising campaigns, including websites, social media, OOH, digital content, broadcast and experiential work.
• Develop and present creative concepts that meet project objectives and strengthen the brand.
• Oversee visual design from concept to hand-off, keeping brand guidelines and quality standards in mind.
• Partner with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate design solutions.
• Manage several projects at once, prioritising tasks and resources to meet deadlines.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, giving constructive feedback.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and design innovations.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma or similar in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or a related field.
• 2-3+ years of experience in a creative agency.
• Strong portfolio showing creative projects and conceptual thinking across platforms.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking and ability to solve complex design challenges.

Required skills

• Proficiency in design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.

• Salary range of CAD 75,000 to 85,000 per year, depending on experience, knowledge, skills and certifications.
