Android Developer

About the role

Konrad is seeking an Android Developer to join its software development team. You will work on both consumer and enterprise mobile applications, contributing to high‑quality products used by millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Write maintainable, testable, and performant Android software in collaboration with a world‑class team.
• Participate in code reviews and conduct extensive testing to ensure high quality.
• Research new technologies and tools, sharing findings with the team.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with all team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing Android applications.
• Strong grasp of programming and computer‑science fundamentals.
• Understanding of end‑to‑end mobile app architecture and interaction with server‑side components.
• Fundamental knowledge of core mobile principles such as UI implementation, common frameworks, and REST APIs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive attitude, and a passion for improving development workflows.

Required skills

• Modern Android development using Java and/or Kotlin.
• Android Jetpack libraries.
• Design patterns such as MVVM or MVP.
• REST API integration.
• UI implementation on Android.
• Functional reactive programming and ReactiveX (nice to have).
• GraphQL networking (nice to have).
• Exposure to iOS development with Swift or cross‑platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Ionic, Xamarin, Cordova) is a plus.
