Accountant – Permanent Position

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our finance team on a permanent, full‑time basis. The role involves managing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting various departments with accurate financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Manage balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
• Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems.
• Supervise and train accounting staff.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Prepare financial information, reports, audit findings, and financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Recommend improvements to accounting processes and management practices.
• Analyze financial documents, conduct variance analysis, and examine accounting records.
• Maintain and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

Required profile

• College‑level accounting certificate or diploma (1‑2 years) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication, organized, reliable, and a team player.

Required skills

• SAP (FI/CO, HR, MM, OT, SD) modules.
• QuickBooks.
• Microsoft Excel and Office suite.
• Microsoft Windows and Outlook.
• ERP systems.
• Sage Accounting Software.
