Subscription & Billing Analyst – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

The Subscription & Billing Analyst acts as a primary finance business partner, supporting internal groups and customers on financial transactions. You will be the subject‑matter expert for subscription management, handling billing data analysis, reconciliation, and corrections. The role demands high accuracy, strong analytical ability, and professional interaction with multiple business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct case analysis, determine action plans, ensure compliance with MSA terms, and apply contractual changes.
• Prepare detailed reports, perform complex account reconciliations, and process financial transactions in Salesforce and NetSuite.
• Resolve billing disputes, execute subscription corrections, product cancellations, and termination processes.
• Prepare credit analyses, create credit memos, process re‑bills, and obtain management approval per company policy.
• Identify and interpret billing anomalies, collaborate with Customer Success and Professional Services to amend records.
• Communicate effectively with business partners to facilitate subscription management changes and process improvements.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in finance, operations, process improvement, or financial analysis with a focus on root‑cause investigation.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, comfortable handling large volumes of complex data.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills combined with a strong work ethic.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience using Salesforce and NetSuite for financial processing.
• Understanding of Quote‑to‑Cash processes, including pricing, discounting, quoting, billing, and renewals.
• Knowledge of subscription‑based billing models in SaaS environments.
