About the role

Join Mastercard’s Decision Management program team in Vancouver, building high‑performance, real‑time decisioning applications that help prevent fraud on every Mastercard transaction.

Key responsibilities

• Implement application logic in Java.
• Write unit, integration and functional tests.
• Participate in all Scrum ceremonies.
• Apply best development practices to produce maintainable, scalable, secure code.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Provide updates to stakeholders and support the team by completing committed tasks.

Required profile

• Strong programming skills with deep knowledge of Java and Spring.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Good knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases.
• Background in high‑performance application development.
• Strong problem‑diagnostic and creative problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage sprint backlog tickets.
