Softgoods Associate – Retail Customer Service

About the role

Join Giant Tiger as a Softgoods Associate in Oromocto, NB, and help deliver a friendly, efficient shopping experience. You’ll work on the sales floor and checkout area, supporting customers and maintaining product presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level customer service and assist shoppers with product inquiries.
• Accurately process transactions using electronic cash registers, mainline and self‑checkout stations.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area and maintain planograms, labels, and signage.
• Perform markdowns, SKU changes, and cycle counts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with tobacco and lottery sales policies, health and safety guidelines, and loss‑prevention best practices.
• Keep the checkout work area clean, organized, and safe.
